Benefits of an IRA charitable rollover

  • Avoid taxes on transfers of up to $105,000 from your IRA to our organization;
  • Make a gift that is not subject to the deduction limits on charitable gifts; and
  • Help further the work and mission of a qualified charitable organization.

How an IRA charitable rollover gift works

  1. Contact your IRA plan administrator to make a gift from your IRA to establish or add to an existing endowment fund to benefit the qualified nonprofit of your choice.
  2. Let us know how you want the endowment fund named and if it is for the nonprofit's general operations or for a specific purpose.
  3. Please note that IRA charitable rollover gifts do not qualify for a charitable deduction.
  4. Please note that IRA charitable rollover gifts can not be placed into a donor advised fund.
